Refund Policy
Stobio refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record for all transactions. This Policy describes when refunds are available, how to request one, and how long processing typically takes.
1. 14-Day Refund Window
You may request a refund of a Stobio subscription payment within fourteen (14) days of the original charge. This window is designed to align with EU consumer protection rules (including the right of withdrawal) and Turkish distance contract regulations, and with Paddle's standard refund framework.
Refunds are issued in accordance with this Policy and applicable consumer protection law, subject to the exclusions described in Section 5.
2. How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund in either of the following ways:
- Through the Paddle customer portal, using the link included on the invoice or payment receipt sent to you by Paddle.
- By contacting Stobio support directly at support@stobio.com with the email address associated with your Stobio account and the order or invoice reference.
To help us process your request quickly, please include the transaction date, the plan you subscribed to, and a brief reason for the refund.
3. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, Paddle processes the reimbursement to the original payment method. The amount typically appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
4. Pro-Rata Refunds for Downgrades
If you downgrade your plan mid-cycle, the unused portion of the higher tier may be applied as a pro-rata credit toward the new plan or refunded, at our discretion. Pro-rata amounts are calculated based on the days remaining in the current billing period.
5. Exclusions
The following situations are not eligible for a refund:
- Trial periods. Free trials are already provided at no cost and are therefore not refundable.
- Past billing cycles. Charges older than the 14-day window are generally not eligible. Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals but does not refund prior cycles.
- Usage-based overages. Where the Service involves usage charges beyond a plan's included quota, those overage amounts are not refundable once the corresponding events have been processed.
- Account termination for breach. If your account is terminated for material breach of the Terms of Service, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining period.
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
6. Cancellation vs. Refund
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Stobio account; cancellation stops the next renewal but does not, by itself, trigger a refund of the current billing period. If you want a refund for the current period, please follow the request process described in Section 2.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The most recent version is always available on this page.
